Nine short years ago I was senior in high school, the typical senior photo was the black drape with pearls. If you really wanted to get spicy you would do a casual outfit by a brick wall in the alley near by (not sketchy at all, considering it was usually an older guy) or hold a cut out of your graduation year (very cool). Neither of which were something I wanted, so I stuck with the traditional image.
Fast forward to 2019. The rise in photography and people pursuing creativity we have a new trend in senior photography. It’s a more creative and unique approach to highlighting who the young person has become. Basically anything goes as far as location, so think outside the box. Urban settings, fields, beaches, play nurseries, carnivals — I’ve seen it all.
