Stress free, kind of...

I am not going to sit here and tell you that my stress is gone and my life is so amazing, chill, and peaceful. As a business owner, I have lots of anxiety surrounding work. In the same breathe I will say that God is faithful and always provides what I need.

But, I am human and I stress out about things I probably shouldn't. Maybe one day I won't but right now I do. I wake up in the middle of the night wondering if I responded to that one client or whether I uploaded the edit so-and-so asked for...it's real people.

These four things have helped me find a little more peace in my daily life.

  • Vitamins and Supplements

    About a month ago I realized I was always tired, wanting to take naps in the middle of the day tired. My mental space was very negative, had a lot of brain fog and trouble focusing. I started taking Ashwagandha and Holy basil twice a day and within four days I felt noticeably better.

  • Working Atmosphere

    I found myself struggling to work from home. Working from a coffee shop is great, but I can't be buying coffee like that every day. Every morning I clean the house to make the space more inviting for focus. I put on something that smells good like a candle of essential oils and it helps get me motivated for my day.

  • New Creativity

    Creativity is relaxing, but when my job requires me to be creative all day the lines can be blurred in the evening when I get that creative energy boost. So, I started watercolor painting, just for me. No rules, no timeline, no pressure and it's great.   • Self-care

    Now, before you roll your eyes..hear me out. For me, self-care is taking care of my skin. When I stress I get acne. When I have acne it affects my confidence. Creating a skin routine that helps with my skin health has been something I decided to do recently. I always am going back and forth on products, but I finally decided on a routine, which helps me think less about it cause I already know what to do.

    • Fill 1 oz dropper bottle with a base oil like jojoba or grape-seed oil.

    • 5 drops of Frankincense

    • 7 drops of Tea Tree

    • 5 drops of Lavender

    • 2 drops Vitamin E
